Our vision is that technology allows us to enable augmented life experiences by changing the way we interact with the objects and spaces that surround us in the environments in which we live. Discreet, calm, empathic, predictive, adaptive, privacy-friendly, and sustainable technology improves our well-being, monitors our health, feeds our imagination, and fosters collaboration. Our mission is to create iconic smart furniture and the tech platform behind them, driving innovation into the design industry. We think we are at the dawn of a new renaissance in which we want to be ambassadors of a forward-thinking Made in Italy, able to combine technology with design, beauty with inclusiveness, culture with craftsmanship, and circular economy with industrial production.

2008

launching the first prototype of HiCan designed by Edoardo Carlino, it amazed the world!

2016

The crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo allows the team to improve and restyle the first HiCan model.

2018

The official launch of the new HiCan at Milano Design Week.

2019

IoF was born in 2019 as an innovative startup that aims to accelerate the internet of furniture creating the tech platform the design industry.

2020

Introducing HiAm, the smart bed of second-generation designed by Fabio Vinella.

2022

IOF aquires Hi-Interiors’ brand intending to turn it into a “BETA Brand” launching ‘Limited Edition Series’ in partnership with companies that symbolize excellence in design.

2023

IOF, in collaboration with Designtech, will launch in Milan the CoFactory. First digital open factory for the design, rapid prototyping and advanced manufacturing of pre-series and limited series of unconventional products from furniture to architecture accessible as a service for the entire design industry.

Interior Designer
